Needing a powerful yet easy-to-administer tool to level the playing field for minority and smaller contractors, MGM Grand Resorts Development collaborated with the Vital Path to develop a multi functional online system allowing all contractors equal opportunity to bid on upcoming projects which translated into a higher response rates for project bidding.

The Vital Path developed a system that was user-centric and enabled MGM system administrators quick back-end access to review and approve suitable contractors for specific projects. With a simple to understand and intuitive user interface combined with a powerful set of web-based modules, TVP was able to increase the response rate by over 70%. This was accomplished by:

• Working with MGM’s Resorts Development management team to define the business requirements of the project

• Developing a web-based platform that encompassed three applications: file repository, provider database and inventory system
•  
• Launching a file repository module allowing multiple administrative users the ability to check-in/check-out files, comment on files and apply version control on files

Intregrating a provider database provided MGM with a rolodex of extensive details on all contractors. With features including advanced search options, group/individual email distribution, exporting to excel and contractor management tools, MGM Project Managers were given a powerful tool to help them perform their jobs more efficiently.

Adding an inventory module enabled users from multiple departments to search the warehouse inventory complete with advanced search options and pictures of available items.
